Detroit's Hot New Alt Emo Power Trio

Since the mid-2000s, songwriter, vocalist, and guitarist Sean Zelda has quietly collaborated with bassist/backup vocalist/former This Emergency (now We Came As Romans) bandmate Sean Daly. When drummer Austin West came along, the stars finally aligned to form Detroit DIY alt emo power trio The Drive Home. 

The project features fiery emo vocal hooks, melodic guitars, and energetic drumming. Their first single "Off The Deep End" hit 10,000 streams in only 18 days. They've released 4 songs, each supported by music videos and behind-the-scenes content on their YouTube Channel (@TheDriveHome_MI). 

TDH recently headlined at Orchid Theatre in Ferndale for a crowd of over 100 people, and has performed at the Old Miami, The Blind Pig, Lager House, and Parts & Labor Bar.

"Where Do You Belong?" is the debut EP from Detroit alt emo 3-piece The Drive Home. It explores themes of self-loathing and surrender, romance and betrayal, heartbreak and acceptance, addiction and death. It serves as a reminder that, despite our differences, we all have one thing in common—the human condition and its inescapability.
